   I have owned Gossip Night for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Heliotrope and Mango Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Madagascar Vanilla plus Cashmeran and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Gossip Night (2023) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and White Peach with Whipped Cream comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into White Peach with Whipped Cream, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A decant of Gossip Night sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Heliotrope/Mango Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. The very first sniff is crisp Heliotrope with Mango Blossom peeking through, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The first minutes are all about Heliotrope with a hint of Mango Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.

Right away I get mostly Heliotrope alongside Mango Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into White Peach with Whipped Cream, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

The composition is well made but not for me.
