   I keep reaching for Envy for Men more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Sandalwood and Cedar feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Incense plus Tobacco and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Envy for Men for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Ginger with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Sandalwood and Cedar feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

Give it a little time and Sandalwood with Cedar comes forward — smooth and well done. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A decant of Envy for Men sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Ginger with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Ginger/Lavender impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
