   A friend passed me a decant of Flora Gorgeous Jasmine (2022) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Italian Mandarin with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Jasmine Sambac feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Flora Gorgeous Jasmine. The first minutes are all about Italian Mandarin with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Jasmine Sambac feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   My first Gucci experience was this one, Flora Gorgeous Jasmine (2022). The base rests on Australian Sandalwood and Benzoin — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Jasmine Sambac, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
