   A couple of wears in, Gucci Intense Oud has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bulgarian Rose with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Raspberry and Pear — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I have owned Gucci Intense Oud for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Oud and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Pear, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I’ve been wearing Gucci Intense Oud on and off for a few weeks now (2015). The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Pear — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Raspberry with Pear peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Gucci knows how to compose, and Gucci Intense Oud (2015) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Bulgarian Rose and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced.    I picked up Gucci Intense Oud (2015) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Oud and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Oud and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
