   I picked up Intense Oud (2016) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Agarwood and Leather come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Frankincense and Raspberry — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Picked up a sample of Intense Oud after reading the community buzz (2016). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Damask Rose with Musk, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Frankincense alongside Raspberry, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I keep reaching for Intense Oud more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Damask Rose and Musk feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Musk comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I have owned Intense Oud for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Musk comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Damask Rose and Musk feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Intense Oud. Right away I get mostly Frankincense alongside Raspberry, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Agarwood plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
