   I have owned Champs Elysees Eau de Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Vanilla and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Lilac with Mimosa comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A decant of Champs Elysees Eau de Parfum sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Melon/Peach impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Melon alongside Peach, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Picked up a sample of Champs Elysees Eau de Parfum after reading the community buzz (1996). The heart is the best part for me: Lilac and Mimosa feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Vanilla and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Picked up a sample of Champs Elysees Eau de Parfum after reading the community buzz (1996). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lilac with Mimosa, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Melon with a hint of Peach — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The opening is built around Melon and Peach — bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

The very first sniff is crisp Melon with Peach peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lilac with Mimosa, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
