   For a 1996 release, Champs Elysees Eau de Toilette deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Almond Tree and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Melon and Peach — bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I picked up Champs Elysees Eau de Toilette (1996) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Melon and Peach — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Melon with Peach peeking through, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The opening is built around Melon and Peach — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I would happily buy a full bottle.

    A couple of wears in, Champs Elysees Eau de Toilette has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lilac with Mimosa, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Lilac with Mimosa comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
