   For a 2021 release, Insolence Eau de Parfum deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Violet — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Iris and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Insolence Eau de Parfum (2021) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Wild Strawberry with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Violet impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A decant of Insolence Eau de Parfum sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Violet — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Violet impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

That first spray gives a lovely Violet impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The base rests on Iris and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I keep reaching for Insolence Eau de Parfum more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Violet, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Violet, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
