   Picked up a sample of Horizon after reading the community buzz (1993). Right away I get mostly Aldehydes alongside Cassia, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Aldehydes with a hint of Cassia — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A friend passed me a decant of Horizon (1993) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Aldehydes and Cassia — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Horizon has really grown on me. The base rests on Oakmoss and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Aldehydes with Cassia peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Horizon, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Oakmoss and Leather come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Oakmoss and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I wanted to like it more than I did.
