   I picked up CK Be (1996) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Green Grass with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of CK Be (1996) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Green Notes impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Green Grass with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned CK Be for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Green Notes — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Green Notes impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.

Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The opening is built around Lavender and Green Notes — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
