   I keep reaching for A*Men Pure Leather more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Leather with Caramel, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Leather with a hint of Mint — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I picked up A*Men Pure Leather (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Leather and Caramel feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Leather with Caramel, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I’ve been wearing A*Men Pure Leather on and off for a few weeks now (2012). The drydown leans on Leather plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Leather with Caramel, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud.
