   Picked up a sample of Coriandre after reading the community buzz (1973). That first spray gives a lovely Coriander/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. The very first sniff is crisp Coriander with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Coriandre. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Coriander with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Picked up a sample of Coriandre after reading the community buzz (1973). The opening is built around Coriander and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Coriander alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I have owned Coriandre for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Coriander/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I’ve been wearing Coriandre on and off for a few weeks now (1973). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Geranium, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Geranium feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

The first minutes are all about Coriander with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
