   Everyone keeps talking about The Key, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Peach with Water Lily comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peach with Water Lily, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I’ve been wearing The Key on and off for a few weeks now (2013). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peach with Water Lily, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Musk and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of The Key after reading the community buzz (2013). The very first sniff is crisp Pear with Boysenberry peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Pear/Boysenberry impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A friend passed me a decant of The Key (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Musk and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Musk plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
