Everyone keeps talking about Climat, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Aldehydes with Rosemary, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Lily-of-the-Valley alongside Narcissus, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I picked up Climat (1967) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Civet and Musk come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Lily-of-the-Valley alongside Narcissus, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

My first Lancôme experience was this one, Climat (1967). The first minutes are all about Lily-of-the-Valley with a hint of Narcissus — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Lily-of-the-Valley with Narcissus peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I wanted to like it more than I did.

I picked up Climat (1967) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Aldehydes with Rosemary comes forward — smooth and well done. The first minutes are all about Lily-of-the-Valley with a hint of Narcissus — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

I have owned Climat for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Aldehydes with Rosemary comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Aldehydes and Rosemary feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

A couple of wears in, Climat has really grown on me. The base rests on Civet and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Lily-of-the-Valley and Narcissus — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

I keep reaching for Climat more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Lily-of-the-Valley with Narcissus peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Aldehydes and Rosemary feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Lancôme knows how to compose, and Climat (1967) is proof. The first minutes are all about Lily-of-the-Valley with a hint of Narcissus — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Lily-of-the-Valley/Narcissus impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

My first Lancôme experience was this one, Climat (1967). The very first sniff is crisp Lily-of-the-Valley with Narcissus peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Civet plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Picked up a sample of Climat after reading the community buzz (1967). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Aldehydes with Rosemary, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Aldehydes and Rosemary feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

For a 1967 release, Climat deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Lily-of-the-Valley with Narcissus peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Lily-of-the-Valley and Narcissus — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
