   I keep reaching for Météore more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Java vetiver oil and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Tunisian Neroli with Indonesian Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   My first Louis Vuitton experience was this one, Météore (2020). The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Sicilian Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Tunisian Neroli and Indonesian Nutmeg feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about Météore, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Tunisian Neroli with Indonesian Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Tunisian Neroli and Indonesian Nutmeg feel carefully balanced. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   For a 2020 release, Météore deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Sicilian Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Sicilian Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Sicilian Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I picked up Météore (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Java vetiver oil come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Sicilian Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tunisian Neroli with Indonesian Nutmeg, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Sicilian Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
