   I’ve been wearing Orage on and off for a few weeks now (2018). The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   For a 2018 release, Orage deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Java vetiver oil plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Hedione with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   For a 2018 release, Orage deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Java vetiver oil and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Java vetiver oil and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Give it a little time and Hedione with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.
