   Loumari knows how to compose, and Porthole (2022) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Pineapple with Sea Salt peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Pineapple and Sea Salt — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   My first Loumari experience was this one, Porthole (2022). Right away I get mostly Pineapple alongside Sea Salt, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Passionfruit with White Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I have owned Porthole for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Pineapple/Sea Salt impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Pineapple and Sea Salt — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A couple of wears in, Porthole has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Pineapple with Sea Salt peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Pineapple with a hint of Sea Salt — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Passionfruit with White Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
