   I picked up Reyna (2023) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Maison Alhambra knows how to compose, and Reyna (2023) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Raspberry and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Marshmallow plus Whipped Cream and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Reyna. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Marshmallow plus Whipped Cream and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. The composition is well made but not for me.
