   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Wave Musk. The heart is the best part for me: Sea Notes and Sea Salt feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sea Notes with Sea Salt, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A couple of wears in, Wave Musk has really grown on me. The base rests on White Musk and Seaweed — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Grass with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2011 release, Wave Musk deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, White Musk and Seaweed come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Grass/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Everyone keeps talking about Wave Musk, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Sea Notes with Sea Salt comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Grass with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I’ve been wearing Wave Musk on and off for a few weeks now (2011). Right away I get mostly Grass alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sea Notes with Sea Salt, which is where the fragrance really shines. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Mancera experience was this one, Wave Musk (2011). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sea Notes with Sea Salt, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Grass/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
