   My first Marc-Antoine Barrois experience was this one, Encelade (2022). Right away I get mostly Rhubarb, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Rhubarb — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Picked up a sample of Encelade after reading the community buzz (2022). The base rests on Vetiver and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Rhubarb, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

The first minutes are all about Rhubarb — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Everyone keeps talking about Encelade, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Cedar feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Cedar comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   For a 2022 release, Encelade deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Rhubarb, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
