A couple of wears in, Honey has really grown on me. As it settles, Honey and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Punch/Pear impression that dries down smoothly. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

I picked up Honey (2013) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Punch alongside Pear, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Punch with a hint of Pear β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

For a 2013 release, Honey deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Punch with a hint of Pear β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Punch and Pear β€” bright and immediately recognizable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This one gets my highest praise β€” beautiful from start to finish.

For a 2013 release, Honey deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Punch/Pear impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Honeysuckle with Orange Blossom comes forward β€” smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

My first Marc Jacobs experience was this one, Honey (2013). Give it a little time and Honeysuckle with Orange Blossom comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Punch alongside Pear, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Honey. The base rests on Honey and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Honeysuckle and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough β€” it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

A friend passed me a decant of Honey (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Honey plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honeysuckle with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. It performs better in warmer weather β€” in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

I keep reaching for Honey more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Punch/Pear impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honeysuckle with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough β€” it carries well without shouting. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

I keep reaching for Honey more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Punch with a hint of Pear β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Punch with Pear peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough β€” it carries well without shouting. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

My first Marc Jacobs experience was this one, Honey (2013). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honeysuckle with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Honey and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

Marc Jacobs knows how to compose, and Honey (2013) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Punch/Pear impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Punch and Pear β€” bright and immediately recognizable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

Everyone keeps talking about Honey, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Punch and Pear β€” bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Honey plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
