   My first Marc Jacobs experience was this one, Perfect Intense (2021). Give it a little time and Almond comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Almond, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Perfect Intense on and off for a few weeks now (2021). The first minutes are all about Narcissus with a hint of Night-blooming jasmine — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A friend passed me a decant of Perfect Intense (2021) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Narcissus/Night-blooming jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Almond comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
