I picked up Granada (2011) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Lily-of-the-Valley/Pomegranate impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Jasmine and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather β€” in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

A decant of Granada sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Jasmine plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Lily-of-the-Valley and Pomegranate β€” bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

Everyone keeps talking about Granada, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Orange Blossom with Heliotrope comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Lily-of-the-Valley alongside Pomegranate, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

Memo Paris knows how to compose, and Granada (2011) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Orange Blossom and Heliotrope feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Jasmine and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I have owned Granada for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Lily-of-the-Valley with Pomegranate peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orange Blossom with Heliotrope, which is where the fragrance really shines. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

A couple of wears in, Granada has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orange Blossom with Heliotrope, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Jasmine plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

I’ve been wearing Granada on and off for a few weeks now (2011). Right away I get mostly Lily-of-the-Valley alongside Pomegranate, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Lily-of-the-Valley with a hint of Pomegranate β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

As it settles, Jasmine and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

For a 2011 release, Granada deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Jasmine and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Lily-of-the-Valley alongside Pomegranate, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I would happily buy a full bottle.
