   A couple of wears in, Violette Eau de Parfum has really grown on me. The opening is built around Violet and Black Currant — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Violet/Black Currant impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Everyone keeps talking about Violette Eau de Parfum, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Violet Leaf and Iris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Violet Leaf and Iris come through and give it real depth. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Molinard experience was this one, Violette Eau de Parfum (2016). The heart is the best part for me: Violet and Green Apple feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Violet/Black Currant impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Molinard experience was this one, Violette Eau de Parfum (2016). The first minutes are all about Violet with a hint of Black Currant — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Violet alongside Black Currant, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I have owned Violette Eau de Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Violet Leaf plus Iris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet with Green Apple, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Violette Eau de Parfum after reading the community buzz (2016). The very first sniff is crisp Violet with Black Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet with Green Apple, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
