I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Uomo?. The opening is built around Kumquat and Aldehydes β€” bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Kumquat with a hint of Aldehydes β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

I picked up Uomo? (1998) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Kumquat with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Kumquat alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Everyone keeps talking about Uomo?, so I finally gave it a proper test. The first minutes are all about Kumquat with a hint of Aldehydes β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Cyclamen with Clary Sage comes forward β€” smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

For a 1998 release, Uomo? deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Musk and Ambergris come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Cyclamen and Clary Sage feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Picked up a sample of Uomo? after reading the community buzz (1998). That first spray gives a lovely Kumquat/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. I keep reaching for Uomo? more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Kumquat with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Kumquat/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Picked up a sample of Uomo? after reading the community buzz (1998). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cyclamen with Clary Sage, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Musk plus Ambergris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
