   Nest knows how to compose, and Midnight Fleur (2012) is proof. As it settles, Black Amber and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Nest experience was this one, Midnight Fleur (2012). The very first sniff is crisp Jasmine, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I’ve been wearing Midnight Fleur on and off for a few weeks now (2012). As it settles, Black Amber and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Black Amber plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I have owned Midnight Fleur for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Vanilla Orchid with Exotic Woods comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla Orchid and Exotic Woods feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

Give it a little time and Vanilla Orchid with Exotic Woods comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Midnight Fleur, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla Orchid with Exotic Woods, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Jasmine — bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
