   I keep reaching for Nivea more than I expected to. The opening is built around Lavender and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I’ve been wearing Nivea on and off for a few weeks now (2015). The base rests on Powdery Notes and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2015 release, Nivea deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

The drydown leans on Powdery Notes plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Nivea has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Powdery Notes plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Nivea (2015) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Lily-of-the-Valley with Ylang-Ylang comes forward — smooth and well done. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

    I have owned Nivea for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The base rests on Powdery Notes and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lily-of-the-Valley with Ylang-Ylang, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
