   My first Orto Parisi experience was this one, Stercus (2014). The heart is the best part for me: Rose feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I picked up Stercus (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Almond with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Almond with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Orto Parisi knows how to compose, and Stercus (2014) is proof. The base rests on Agarwood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Almond alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Orto Parisi experience was this one, Stercus (2014). That first spray gives a lovely Almond/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Agarwood and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Stercus. Right away I get mostly Almond alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Almond/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I’ve been wearing Stercus on and off for a few weeks now (2014). The drydown leans on Agarwood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.

Right away I get mostly Almond alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
