   A decant of Habdan sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Saffron with a hint of Olibanum — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Saffron with Olibanum peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   My first Parfums de Marly experience was this one, Habdan (2013). The heart is the best part for me: Apple and Woody Notes feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Apple with Woody Notes comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I’ve been wearing Habdan on and off for a few weeks now (2013). Right away I get mostly Saffron alongside Olibanum, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Apple with Woody Notes comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Habdan has really grown on me. The opening is built around Saffron and Olibanum — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Saffron with Olibanum peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I keep reaching for Habdan more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Myrhh plus Caramel and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Myrhh and Caramel come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Habdan for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Apple and Woody Notes feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Saffron alongside Olibanum, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The opening is built around Saffron and Olibanum — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   For a 2013 release, Habdan deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Saffron/Olibanum impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Saffron with a hint of Olibanum — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I would happily buy a full bottle.
