   I have owned Candy Florale for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Peony feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Candy Florale on and off for a few weeks now (2014). The first minutes are all about Limoncello — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Limoncello, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   My first Prada experience was this one, Candy Florale (2014). The drydown leans on Honey plus Caramel and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Limoncello, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2014 release, Candy Florale deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Limoncello, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The heart is the best part for me: Peony feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
