   I picked up Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger (2009) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Orange Blossom and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orange Blossom with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger (2009) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Orange Blossom and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Powdery Notes and Serenolide come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Prada knows how to compose, and Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger (2009) is proof. The first minutes are all about Neroli with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Neroli with Mandarin Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Give it a little time and Orange Blossom with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
