   Everyone keeps talking about Prada Candy Gloss, so I finally gave it a proper test. The first minutes are all about Sour Cherry with a hint of Cassis — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Peach with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Prada experience was this one, Prada Candy Gloss (2017). That first spray gives a lovely Sour Cherry/Cassis impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Peach and Rose feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peach with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

    I have owned Prada Candy Gloss for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Almond and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
