   A decant of Fame sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Vanilla and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Mango and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Fame, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Olibanum feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Mango and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2022 release, Fame deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Mango with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Mango/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A friend passed me a decant of Fame (2022) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Vanilla and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Fame for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Mango with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Vanilla and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
