   I’ve been wearing Phantom Intense on and off for a few weeks now (2024). As it settles, Vanilla and Tolu Balsam come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lavender with Cedar, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Phantom Intense. The base rests on Vanilla and Tolu Balsam — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Vanilla and Tolu Balsam come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. The composition is well made but not for me.

   A decant of Phantom Intense sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Tolu Balsam and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Vanilla and Tolu Balsam — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   For a 2024 release, Phantom Intense deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Cardamom with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Cardamom/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Everyone keeps talking about Phantom Intense, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Cardamom alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Lavender with Cedar comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Give it a little time and Lavender with Cedar comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
