   For a 2001 release, Ultraviolet Man deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vetiver with Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Vetiver and Pepper feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Ultraviolet Man has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vetiver with Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Oakmoss and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I have owned Ultraviolet Man for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Mint and Amber — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Oakmoss and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   For a 2001 release, Ultraviolet Man deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Mint with Amber peeking through, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Vetiver with Pepper comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A decant of Ultraviolet Man sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Mint with a hint of Amber — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Mint alongside Amber, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

    I picked up Ultraviolet Man (2001) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Vetiver with Pepper comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
