   Roja Dove knows how to compose, and Isola Blu (2023) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Apple and Black Currant feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Lime/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Isola Blu has really grown on me. As it settles, Cedar and Birch come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Lime with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A decant of Isola Blu sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Apple with Black Currant, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Apple with Black Currant comes forward — smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   For a 2023 release, Isola Blu deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Apple with Black Currant comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Lime/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Everyone keeps talking about Isola Blu, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Cedar and Birch come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Lime alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
