   I keep reaching for Dalilight more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Water Lily and Peach feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Musk and Virginia Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I’ve been wearing Dalilight on and off for a few weeks now (2011). The first minutes are all about Amalfi Lemon with a hint of Red Apple — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Musk plus Virginia Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Picked up a sample of Dalilight after reading the community buzz (2011). The very first sniff is crisp Amalfi Lemon with Red Apple peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Musk and Virginia Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Right away I get mostly Amalfi Lemon alongside Red Apple, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Dalilight. Give it a little time and Water Lily with Peach comes forward — smooth and well done. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Salvador Dali knows how to compose, and Dalilight (2011) is proof. The opening is built around Amalfi Lemon and Red Apple — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Water Lily with Peach, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I wanted to like it more than I did.

As it settles, Musk and Virginia Cedar come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
