   A friend passed me a decant of Après l’Amour (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Give it a little time and Aromatic Spices comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Musk and Amber come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   For a 2018 release, Après l’Amour deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Aromatic Spices, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Aromatic Spices comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for Après l’Amour more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Lemon zest/Bitter orange blossom impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Aromatic Spices, which is where the fragrance really shines. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The heart is the best part for me: Aromatic Spices feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. The composition is well made but not for me.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Aromatic Spices, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The very first sniff is crisp Lemon zest with Bitter orange blossom peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
