   I keep reaching for Simone more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Freesia with Frangipani, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Musk and Woody Notes come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2014 release, Simone deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Watermelon alongside Apple, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Musk and Woody Notes come through and give it real depth. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A decant of Simone sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Musk plus Woody Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Watermelon and Apple — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The drydown leans on Musk plus Woody Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
