   I picked up Stella (2006) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Blood Orange and Bitter Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I picked up Stella (2006) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Lily with Freesia comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   My first Tocca experience was this one, Stella (2006). The heart is the best part for me: Lily and Freesia feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Blood Orange/Bitter Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   For a 2006 release, Stella deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Blood Orange alongside Bitter Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Blood Orange/Bitter Orange impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Picked up a sample of Stella after reading the community buzz (2006). Right away I get mostly Blood Orange alongside Bitter Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Blood Orange with a hint of Bitter Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The opening is built around Blood Orange and Bitter Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lily with Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
