   A decant of Flowerbomb Nectar sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Osmanthus with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around gunpowder and Cassis — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A couple of wears in, Flowerbomb Nectar has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Vanilla and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Flowerbomb Nectar. The heart is the best part for me: Osmanthus and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about gunpowder with a hint of Cassis — it grabs attention without being pushy. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I’ve been wearing Flowerbomb Nectar on and off for a few weeks now (2018). Right away I get mostly gunpowder alongside Cassis, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about gunpowder with a hint of Cassis — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Flowerbomb Nectar for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp gunpowder with Cassis peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Vanilla and Tonka Bean — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

The opening is built around gunpowder and Cassis — bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. The composition is well made but not for me.
