   I have owned Modest Mimosa for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Neroli alongside Carrot, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Neroli with a hint of Carrot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Modest Mimosa for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Neroli with a hint of Carrot — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Musk plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A friend passed me a decant of Modest Mimosa (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Neroli with Carrot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Mimosa and Violet feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I keep reaching for Modest Mimosa more than I expected to. Give it a little time and Mimosa with Violet comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Neroli alongside Carrot, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
