Yves Rocher knows how to compose, and Iris Noir (2007) is proof. The opening is built around Coriander and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Coriander alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather β€” in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

A friend passed me a decant of Iris Noir (2007) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Coriander and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Iris with Ambrette (Musk Mallow) comes forward β€” smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Yves Rocher knows how to compose, and Iris Noir (2007) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Coriander/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Picked up a sample of Iris Noir after reading the community buzz (2007). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Ambrette (Musk Mallow), which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Ambrette (Musk Mallow) feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. This one gets my highest praise β€” beautiful from start to finish.

I have owned Iris Noir for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Coriander and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

A couple of wears in, Iris Noir has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Coriander and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

I’ve been wearing Iris Noir on and off for a few weeks now (2007). Give it a little time and Iris with Ambrette (Musk Mallow) comes forward β€” smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Ambrette (Musk Mallow), which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This one gets my highest praise β€” beautiful from start to finish.

I keep reaching for Iris Noir more than I expected to. The opening is built around Coriander and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Coriander/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Everyone keeps talking about Iris Noir, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Ambrette (Musk Mallow), which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Ambrette (Musk Mallow) feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

My first Yves Rocher experience was this one, Iris Noir (2007). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Ambrette (Musk Mallow), which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Patchouli and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I keep reaching for Iris Noir more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Coriander with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

I have owned Iris Noir for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The base rests on Patchouli and Tonka Bean β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Coriander with a hint of Bergamot β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
