   Everyone keeps talking about Chipmunk, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Nutmeg and Cardamom — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Animal notes and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I’ve been wearing Chipmunk on and off for a few weeks now (2021). The very first sniff is crisp Nutmeg with Cardamom peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Hazelnut and Oak feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Give it a little time and Hazelnut with Oak comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Chipmunk (2021) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Hazelnut with Oak, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Animal notes and Cedar come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I have owned Chipmunk for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Nutmeg/Cardamom impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Hazelnut with Oak, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

As it settles, Animal notes and Cedar come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
