   A friend passed me a decant of Benetton Hot (1997) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Brazilian Rosewood/Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Apricot with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Benetton Hot on and off for a few weeks now (1997). The heart is the best part for me: Apricot and Iris feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Vanilla and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Benetton knows how to compose, and Benetton Hot (1997) is proof. As it settles, Vanilla and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Apricot and Iris feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Picked up a sample of Benetton Hot after reading the community buzz (1997). The base rests on Vanilla and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Brazilian Rosewood alongside Mandarin Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The first minutes are all about Brazilian Rosewood with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.
