   I have owned Paris – Paris for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Citruses peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Patchouli come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Chanel experience was this one, Paris – Paris (2022). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Damask Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Citruses impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I have owned Paris – Paris for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Citruses — bright and immediately recognizable. The base rests on Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Citruses — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   Chanel knows how to compose, and Paris – Paris (2022) is proof. The base rests on Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Patchouli come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Citruses, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

Give it a little time and Damask Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
