   I’ve been wearing Escada 2005 on and off for a few weeks now (2005). The opening is built around Green Leaves and Cucumber — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Musk and Iris come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Escada 2005 has really grown on me. The heart is the best part for me: Lily-of-the-Valley and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Musk plus Iris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Picked up a sample of Escada 2005 after reading the community buzz (2005). The base rests on Musk and Iris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Lily-of-the-Valley and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Escada 2005. The very first sniff is crisp Green Leaves with Cucumber peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Musk and Iris come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   Escada knows how to compose, and Escada 2005 (2005) is proof. Right away I get mostly Green Leaves alongside Cucumber, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Musk plus Iris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
