   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Gucci Eau de Parfum. The opening is built around Heliotrope and Orange Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Leather plus Incense and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A decant of Gucci Eau de Parfum sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Heliotrope with Orange Blossom peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Leather plus Incense and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Picked up a sample of Gucci Eau de Parfum after reading the community buzz (2002). The drydown leans on Leather plus Incense and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Caraway and Iris feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Gucci experience was this one, Gucci Eau de Parfum (2002). The first minutes are all about Heliotrope with a hint of Orange Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Caraway and Iris feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Gucci Eau de Parfum more than I expected to. The base rests on Leather and Incense — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Heliotrope/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Gucci Eau de Parfum for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Heliotrope/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Leather plus Incense and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Give it a little time and Caraway with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Caraway with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Leather and Incense come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
