   Everyone keeps talking about Roses & Chocolate, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Dark Chocolate with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Vanilla and White Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Roses & Chocolate more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus White Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Black Currant, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Everyone keeps talking about Roses & Chocolate, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Vanilla and White Musk come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Peach and Black Currant — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Roses & Chocolate more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Peach with Black Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Black Currant, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A decant of Roses & Chocolate sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Dark Chocolate and Rose feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Peach with Black Currant peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   My first Mancera experience was this one, Roses & Chocolate (2013). The base rests on Vanilla and White Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus White Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Dark Chocolate with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus White Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
