   Everyone keeps talking about Solaris, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Vanilla and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Neroli and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Solaris. The very first sniff is crisp Neroli with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tiare Flower with Ylang-Ylang, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
